Who gets the drumstick?

Cooking With Wood scientists are working to solve the age old question “Who gets the drumstick.” In the Thanksgiving season the dilemma has always been that turkeys have only two drumsticks and sometimes the demand out weighs the supply. CWW laboratories have been working feverously trying to solve the problem before this years’ holiday. The break-through came recently with the creation of the “Chickipede” a 12-legged chicken. “We are now making great strides in the evolution of birdkind. We blindly pecked our way for so long, its’ rewarding to scratch out this success.”
However CWW farmers are crying foul! They say it is not as easy as one would think to raise a twelve legged chicken. When you have several chickipedes scratching in the barnyard, it can create environmental erosion issues. And another farmer stated: “We’ve clocked those dang birds running at 40 miles per hour. YOU try catching on of them!”
The turkey version of the Chickipede will not be ready for this years’ holiday. “We tried to stuff too much into getting this bird ready for this year. But next year we should flocking around the success of the yet named creature.”
